After many years of searching for (and finally finding) the 'perfect horse', I lost her. Her name was Garbosa XI, and her story can be found on this website as well. Click on her name to learn more about a spectacular horse, and about equine melanomas.

As fate would have it, Garbosa's passing eventually led me to Don Marco. As devastating as her loss was, I now know that there was a greater purpose in it.
