Following in his sire, Don Marco's footsteps, Notorio is proving that he has what it takes to succeed in the breeding shed, as well as the show ring. His dam is the beautiful Jarana, the 1998 National Champion mare. She is the only mare I know of who has produced 100% National Champion offspring. With a Nationally recognized sire who is undefeated in Get of Sire regionally and nationally, in open shows as well as Andalusian shows, and a dam who has produced 100% National Champion offspring, Notorio's impressive accomplishments should come as no surprise.
Notorio holds more than half a dozen National titles, including National Champion Show Pleasure Driving, National High Point Halter Horse, National Top 5 Senior Stallion (3rd), National Top 5 Colt (3rd) (placed 1st by the Spanish Judge), National Top 5 Best Movement, Res. National Champion Show Driving Amateur, and several others, as well as a handful regional titles and wins.
As a sire, he enjoys recognition as one of the elite few American Andalusian stallions to have a foal exported to another country (Mexico). Notorio's foals have size, charisma, personality, and movement, with conformation very similar to his own, showing that his sire (Don Marco)'s prepotency has been passed on to him.
